As a small, privately owned company we have tried many different approaches to increasing business, whether it be in-house or outsourced. Well, I’m here to tell you that 1SEO has worked miracles for our company. As an owner, your company is your legacy. You can’t leave your legacy, blood, sweat and tears in the hands of just anyone. 1SEO becomes a partner, and quite frankly – a team member! We have contracted with 1SEO for a couple of years now and have always raved about the creative material provided for advertising as well as the impressive transparency when it comes to reporting. We recently received a new account manager, Britt. Within weeks, Britt took the time to understand not only our company but also our industry! Having a team member that will send over a marketing campaign that PERFECTLY meets your needs is refreshing! Every business owner I have ever met says that their largest business hurdle is not being able to duplicate themselves. When you have an account manager that not only finds the need but provides a solution and sends it to you for approval is EXACTLY the same as duplicating yourself! It’s a breath of fresh air to receive quality marketing campaigns that you feel you couldn’t have done better yourself and it’s done without being asked! There is NO employee (accept yourself of course) that will do that. The best thing you can do for your business is add the team at 1SEO to become an extension of your team. They will prove to you that your success matters. The constant feedback they provide allows you the opportunity to make changes, offer suggestions or hand over the wheel. 1SEO was the absolute worst type of business partner for our company: they overpromised, under-delivered, and demonstrated an absence of competence and integrity. Since zero stars isn't an option here, I'd give the one star to Alfaz. He was very helpful and communicative for the brief time he managed our account and tried to turn things around. But the praise for 1SEO stops there. We paid for one year up front at a modest discount with the expectation that their team would be a good resource for SEO services and paid social. Instead, they missed their own deadlines by months, made many rookie mistakes, and worst of all, the results were abysmal. We raised these concerns and were passed along to a retention-oriented team that acknowledged turnover and output issues on their side and promised to make things right, but we were roughly seven months into our contract and had received maybe two to three months' worth of promised deliverables, if that. It was far too little far too late, and we had zero confidence in 1SEO's ability to deliver on their promises. We chose to move on from 1SEO and were told that the non-discounted rate would apply for the time under contract and be deducted from the refund, effectively cutting the amount in half. I asked them to point out where the contract justified this policy (spoiler: it doesn't) and their response was essentially "deal with it." In my book, that's an objectively terrible way to treat a client when you've dropped the ball. But incredibly, it gets even worse. Ten weeks later, they have since gone radio silent with no sign of follow-through on a refund. At this point I have to assume they are hoping we forgot about the whole ordeal so they can quietly change the refund amount to zero. I highly recommend that you stay far, far away from 1SEO, ostensibly a digital marketing, PPC, social media, and SEO marketing agency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [EDIT] I stand behind my comments as a candid assessment of my own direct experience with 1SEO. I strongly disagree with several claims in their response, and one key point merits additional detail. In my last email to them, I wrote that I would share their decision to our team along with the contract, and said that "we will decide if any further discussion is warranted." I expressed disappointment in the result but did not turn down the refund to check our numbers or for any other reason, and they did not ask for clarification on the matter. I'm truly baffled why they would suggest a phone call at this point except for the sake of grandstanding. I shared my position that an incomplete refund was unacceptable based on what had been delivered, and after some back-and-forth they made it clear that the decision was final and endorsed by 1SEO's company leadership. What else is there to sort out? What prevented them from contacting us during that time if they really wanted to work out a mutually satisfactory agreement with an unhappy client? I ended my email with this: "For my part, I intend to lay out the facts of this situation in an honest review, and I can't say I have many good things to say about 1SEO at this point." If they're genuinely surprised by this feedback, it's only because they haven't been paying any attention at all.
